My final project will be a pitch-giving device than can let people hear particular pitches at different intervals above or below a given note. As a bass-baritone, I'm always worried about beginning a song too high! Hopefully this device will ensure I don't crack in concert any time soon...
1. The letters moving horizontally from left to right represent the seven basic notes in a C scale
2. The symbols beneath them represent a flat (b -- lowering the tone one half step) and a sharp (# -- raising the tone one half step)
3. The button to the far bottom left is the "clear" button, which will clear any buttons already pressed for a command
4. The vertical columns to the right represent the types of intervals that can be tested with the device
5. The two buttons adjacent to the vertical column allow the user to choose whether to go "up" or "down" with the interval
6. The dark rectangle to the top right represents the speaker
